Easter Pageant Open to All

The 62nd annual Easter Pageant will be presented in Junction under the stars at the amphitheater under Lover’s Leap. It will begin at dark, approximately 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 7.More than 70 volunteer actors, wearing brightly colored costumes, will portray the story of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.The cast and crew are comprised of people from all facets of the community. These individuals have dedicated countless hours to keeping this local tradition alive.In addition to the actors, there is lots of work behind the scenes to bring the production to life. These include a director, narrators, lighting specialists, sound technicians, and groundskeepers. The Boy Scouts assist with parking and distributing programs the night of the Pageant.Actors are not identified, preferring to keep the focus on the Biblical characters, and for the purpose of bringing renewed faith to the audience.There is no charge for admission. Donations are accepted during intermission to help cover the costs of maintaining the amphitheater, props and costumes.
