The Wesley Nurse at First United Methodist Church invites you to take part in a free caregiver support group series open to all residents in the Mason area. The series will extend over a six week period and will provide caregiver support sessions, as well as, practical learning experiences that will improve participants’ ability to care for their loved ones.
Patrick Loring, M.S., L.P.C. will facilitate the caregiver support group portion of the program by offering a time of listening and caring while participants are working through the aspects and challenges of caring for a family member. A representative from a durable medical equipment company who serves the Mason area, will also share information about equipment and supplies that can be utilized in the home to aid in a better quality of living for caregivers and their loved ones. Likewise, speakers from the Area Agency on Aging will present on the Senior Companion and Respite Care programs offered in the Mason area.
The program will be held at the Methodist Church at 224 Broad St, every Wednesday beginning April 11th through May 16th at 12:00 p.m. in the conference room at the Methodist Church.
