We have enjoyed having all of the Bluebonnet hunters, Topaz rock Hounds, Artists, Habitat for Humanity caravan, RVers, and many other visitors to our community. In one month the Chamber passed out 700 free maps to folks from all over the WORLD! This spring has been a blessing to us ALL. Our gratitude goes out to all of you for your hospitality, great big Mason Smiles and the warm welcome, trust me anyone that has visited our beautiful town can’t wait to come back!! This brings hope in a time of a downed economy.

Mason is what community is all about. There have been many activities around town lately and Mason ALWAYS shows up! The Chamber Spring Mixer was a BIG success, we had over 90 in attendance, we sure appreciate Gene and Patsy Zesch opening their beautiful guest house for the community to enjoy! The food, Lemonade and Tea provided by our Lodging group was very tasty as well! I will say it was a perfect event! Again, we appreciate your Support! We are already planning our Summer Mixer so stay tuned for that event!

In addition to the Spring mixer, I wanted to share the gratitude expressed to me from the carnival employees and the compliments they had about how well behaved our kids are here and the feeling of community that they will take with them to the next stop. This group worked very hard to provide Mason with some Good clean family fun, I bet all of you are enjoying those new pet goldfish!!! I have had a lot of positive feed back from all of you as well!!

Another positive and great contribution from Mason was the support that you all showed to the Bibb family on Sunday April 22nd as we helped Make A wish give Jacob Bibb his wish, a trip to Hawaii. I know that Candy Rivera, our Make a Wish representative, was touched by the hospitality of this community as well. Keep it up MASON!!

Round-up 2012 is approaching fast, make sure that you reserve your booth space on the square as soon as possible! Also I would like to invite anyone that would like to enter the Jack ass race or the parade to do so as well. Thank you all for your participation and contribution to the the community!
