Wednesday, April 25, 2012 • Posted April 25, 2012

The Wesley Nurse at First United Methodist Church invites you to take part in the free caregiver & grief support groups open to all citizens in the Mason area. The focus of the support groups is to offer a time of listening and caring, as well as, practical learning experiences that will improve the quality of life for all participants.

Assisting with the groups is Patrick Loring, M.S., L.P.C., the bereavement coordinator for Odyssey Hospice in Kerrville, Texas. He has 25 years of professional counseling experience.

The programs are held at the Methodist Church at 224 Broad St, during the lunch hour (12:00 to 1:00 p.m.) in the conference room at the Methodist Church. The Grief Support group meets every first and third Tuesday of each month. The Caregiver’s Support group meets every Wednesday. Participants are encouraged to bring a sack lunch; beverages and dessert will be provided. For further questions or information, please call Ann Scarth, RN at 325-347-5983.
