City Pool Ready to Open
Wednesday, May 2, 2012 • Posted May 2, 2012

It’s that time of the year again and the City Pool is scheduled to open on Monday, May 28th 2012 at 10:30am. Our hours of operation have changed slightly, and we wanted everyone to know about them, so a schedule is attached to this article. We will be adding a new Vortex Slide to the pool this year that is scheduled to be here on May 3rd, and we will installed shortly after it arrives. We look forward to letting everyone use it and have some fun. Also, since we have purchased more swimming equipment and are planning to add more next year for our little toddlers, we have had to raise the entry cost to $1.50 per session this year. In order to insure that we are all safe, we are still needing more applicants for lifeguards. We would like to keep the City Pool opened until October, so if any adults feel the need to get a GREAT TAN please come by and apply. We look forward to a great season!!!! We hope to see everyone at the pool this year!!!! If you have any questions about the City Pool, or anything else, please contact John R. Palacio at the City office at 325-347-6449.
