Twenty-five dollars and twenty-six cents.

That’s right.


For postage and a padded envelope at the Post Office.


For gas.


At Weber Chevron.


For several birthday cards at Benjie’s.

Which comes to a grand total of $89.74.

There went that $100 bill.

And that was just yesterday.

Today spent $75.78 on wine at Sandstone Cellars Winery.

Gifts to go with those birthday cards.

$8.61 for lunch at Square Plate.

And $8.00 for deluxe car wash at Laserwash 4000.

Yep, we’re in high cotton now.

Hye, Texas too.

Had to meet a client there.

(Between Johnson City and Stonewall.)

More gas.


Lunch meeting.


Ran into Wally World to grab a few things.

Big mistake.$117.56.

Next day ate a relaxing lunch outside at Santos Taqueria.


Santos isn’t the only place to dine al fresco.

Several provide outdoor eating.Nacho’s Café.

Texas Deadwood BBQ.

Dairy Queen.

Cooper’s Bar-B-Que.

Tres Caminos even has a table outside.

And across the road from Northside Café, you can sit and eat at Comanche Creek Park.

For less than $5, Northside serves a Loaded Baked Potato the size of your shoe.

$65 got the yard mowed, weed-eated, and weeded.

$21.65 got Buster a bath at Reigning Cats & Dogs.

$56 got him rabies and vaccine shots at Hill Country Veterinary Hospital.$3 got him a license from the City of Mason.

Licensed to kill, no.

Licensed to be a Canine-American, yes.
