Library to Offer Computer Classes
Wednesday, May 2, 2012 • Posted May 2, 2012

The Mason Co. M. Beven Eckert Memorial Library is excited to be able to offer computer classes for beginners. Three classes will be offered: Computer Basics I, Computer Basics II, and Using the Internet, Facebook, and email. Computer Basic I will meet Thursday, May 3 from 6:30 P.M.-7:30 P.M.

The instructor is Carol Tucker. Carol and her husband moved to Mason last November from Houston. She has worked on implementation teams for over twenty-five years, assisting with the “user side” of the new accounting programs that her companies were installing. It was Carol’s responsibility to assist with testing new accounting software and writing the user manuals. She also provided computer training to the users of the new software.

Carol commented, “I’m looking forward to being able to share some of my computer knowledge with my new neighbors.” Class size will be limited, but they will be offered again if enough people need them.
