The Great Castell Kayak Race Jubilee

The racers are signing up for this year’s special race jubilee!

On June 2nd 10AM boaters and floaters will meet under the Highway 87 bridge over the River Llano.

It’s 8 miles south of Mason Texas off the Hwy. 87 South/(or North) right under the bridge! The race is going back to it’s roots of rough and ready riders…..

The fee for this year is $20. It includes free camping at Riversounds either Friday or Saturday night. There will be music Saturday; after 50 people have signed up, free tee shirts included.

Shuttle is extra and is $5.

This year is a special jubilee year pending the changes being made for the future of the race! Jubilee is a traditional time of rest, celebration and ollie, ollie in free. So ya’ll come join GCKR for the biggest kayak race in Texas down the beautiful Llano River.

Be prepared for an adventure and to meet kindred spirits on the 12 miles of llovely Llano River.

10% of proceeds will be donated to a local cancer charity.
