Citizens of Mason County,

A contested race will be held on May 12th for the place of Director Precinct 3 for the Hickory Underground Water Conservation District. Gay Nesloney and Larry Lehmberg will appear on the ballot. The election will be held in conjunction with the City of Mason elections on May 12th at Mason City Hall.

All of Mason County and the City of Mason get their water from the Hickory Aquifer. Director Precinct 3 of the HUWCD represents ALL Mason County residents. Water is our most precious resource, so please remember to go vote in this important election. Mason County needs someone who will represent its constituents, both rural and municipal, and will make decisions in the best interest of preserving and safeguarding our aquifer. ***ALL registered voters residing in Mason County are eligible to vote in the race for the place of HUWCD Director Precinct 3.***
