Wednesday, May 23, 2012 • Posted May 23, 2012

Fine Arts Association of the Hill Country members, Nan Loeffler and Marcy Holmes-Wheeler, have been invited to show and sell their art at the Old Chicken Farm Art Center in San Angelo on June 2 for the First Saturday event to kick off the summer. The Chicken Farm is located at 2505 Martin Luther King Blvd. and is open from 10AM to 5PM.

Nan Loeffler is a retired art teacher, award winning artist, and silversmith artisan who loves to do whimsical art. Marcy-Holmes Wheeler is a first grade teacher in Menard and former commercial artist in Albuquerque who does gourd art.

First Saturday on June 2 will also be a “seconds sale” for Roger Allen, founder and co-owner of the Chicken Farm. This means his famous and outstanding pottery pieces that have a slight flaw will be available at 50% off.

Nan and Marcy invite everyone to come see their work, enjoy music, art, and visiting, eating at the outdoor pizza oven or hamburger grill, and all the days’ events.
