St. Paul Lutheran to Celebrate 140 Years
Everyone Invited to Attend

Sunday, June 24th is St. Paul Lutheran’s anniversary with Rev. Ron Windecker of San Antonio preaching at the 10:45 a.m. worship service. St. Paul Lutheran began in 1872 and has had nearly two dozen pastors, who will be honored, recognized and remembered at the Anniversary Service.Former pastors who are still living include Rev. Arnold Windecker and Rev. Dale Brand of San Antonio, Rev. Ted Steenblock in Schulenberg, and Rev. Lewis Groce of Tennessee. Descendants of former shepherds have been invited to attend and will be given an opportunity to share a few remarks after the noon meal.

A covered dish noon meal will follow worship.

The public is invited, but are asked to phone the church office about number attending, 347-5582.

A power point presentation will be shown after the meal, picturing former pastors and some of their activities when in Mason.
