Second Chance- Mason Animal Rescue will be having a meeting on Thursday, June 21 at 5:30 p.m.

If you are interested in joining Second Chance or just learning more about what we do, please make plans to attend. We have two pets of the week this week.

The first is Bella. She is a very friendly one 4-5 month old old mixed breed.

She has fostered for a while but is ready to find a family of her own.

She is already spayed.

The second pet of the week is a lovely gray female cat named Missy.

Either would make a great addition to your family.

If you are interested in adopting either Bella or Missy please contact Casey Clevenger at 347-4521.

There is a $25.00 adoption fee for dogs. For the adoption fee, the dog will be heartworm tested, receive the first dose of heartworm preventative, and be vaccinated for rabies and parvo/distemper. The dog will also be wormed and be registered with the City of Mason.

To see other animals up for adoption or to learn more about Second Chance please visit us on Facebook.Second Chance still needs foster homes for both cats and dogs.

Please contact Casey Clevenger at 347-4521 if you would like to help. If you are interested in helping out but cannot volunteer or foster, please consider becoming a sponsor of one of Second Chance’s animals.

Donations can be made to Second Chance and mailed to PO Box 755, Mason, Texas 76856.

Current supplies that we are in need of include: rawhide chews, kitty litter, kitten chow, puppy chow, gently used toys, leashes, collars, and old towels and rags. These can be dropped off at the Mason County Chamber of Commerce on the square.

Thanks to everyone who has volunteered with or donated to Second Chance-Mason Animal Rescue.
