Wednesday, June 20, 2012 • Posted June 20, 2012

Do you want your child to take a trip this summer... one that will not only get them up and outside, but one that could impact their lives forever? Three of Mason's churches: St. Paul Lutheran, First United Methodist, and Art Methodist are making such a trip possible. The details you need to know are:

When: July 23rd-26th (we are trying a four day experience since many have to be absent on Friday.

Where: St. Paul Lutheran Church.Time: 8:30-11:50

Who: Children four years old as of September 1st to those just completing fifth grade. We also welcome all other older children to register as helpers.

What: Amazing Desert Journey presents that Gospel Message through the contrasting imagery of the desert landscape and the lush oasis. Children learn that our earthly lives can be refreshed and renewed by God's Word in the oasis of his Church, while our Savior Jesus is leading us to our true home in heaven. Kids will explore the Bible to learn real accounts of salvation and connect these truths to their own lives through interactive stories, music, crafts, and games.

In the crowded VBS marketplace, there is only one choice where it all comes together to faithfully teach the saving message of God's grace. After the craft glue dries, the decorations comes down, and the snacks are gone, the real message is that the children know their need for a Savior and his name is Jesus. Come journey with us!

Registration forms are available at the host churches and you will receive a free CD of VBS music and a t-shirt with pre-registration!
