Hot dang.

Dang it’s hot.

Summertime.

And the livin’ is easy.

Summer is here.

Splish splash.

Dive into the City of Mason swimming pool.

Back at the ranch, cool off in the concrete tank.

Sit on the porch and take in the breeze.

Row row row the kayak.

Gently down the stream.

Or jump in the river.

Swim with the fish.

Fish with the swimmers.

Roll out those lazy hazy crazy days of summer.

Reading, writing, riding.

Dillydallying.

Blizzards from Dairy Queen.

Or a Dillo Bar.

Ice tea from you-name-it.

Just about everywhere offers ice tea.

Sweet or unsweetened.

Cold, you bet.

Refreshing.

And good for you too.

The Green House sells several varieties.

Pouring boiling water over tea leaves goes back 4,700 years.

Then, the infusion of camellia leaves was used to treat tumors, abscesses, bladder ailments, and lethargy.

There it is!

Lethargy.

A summer complaint.

Time for a glass of tea.

Or let’s have another cup of coffee.

Let’s have another piece of pie.

Make that iced coffee.

Ice water.

Ice cream.

Frozen yogurt.

Popsicles.

Sherbet.

Gelato.

Anything cold will do.

The sun slowly sets.

Treetops cool down.

Birds of a feather flock together for the night.

And all’s right with the world.

That’s Mason.
