Are you a Puncher supporter? If you are, and if you have not seen the State Champion Football trophy, be sure to stop by. The superintendent has graciously allowed us to feature a display of last year’s football trophies, game balls, the First Place Team Tennis trophy, and other memorabilia. We will have the display in the foyer for the remainder of the summer.

Wife 22 by Melanie Gideon (F GID)

“. . . delightful, compulsively readable . . . manages to be both funny and thought-provoking on the question: after many years of marriage, how do two people keep their love vital?”

A Blaze of Glory by Jeff Shaara (F SHA)

“Shaara takes us to the action-packed Western Theater of the Civil War for a vivid re-creation of one of the war’s bloodiest and most iconic engagements—the Battle of Shiloh.”

The Columbus Affair by Steve Berry (F BER)

“Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Tom Sagan has fallen to virtual exile with his reputation destroyed because a controversial report is exposed as a fraud. But before he can end his torment with a squeeze of a trigger, fate intervenes when a stranger makes a request that can’t be ignored.”

The Watch by Joydeep Roy-Bhattacharya (F ROY)

“Following a desperate night-long battle, a group of beleaguered soldiers in an isolated base in Kandahar are faced with a lone woman demanding the return of her brother’s body. Is she a spy, a black widow, a lunatic? Taking his cues from the Antigone myth, Roy-Bhattacharya brilliantly re-creates the chaos, intensity, and immediacy of battle.”
