Bradley Laxson from Streeter recently attended the FFA Ag Clay shoot in San Antonio, Texas. He shot his first 75 and 100 straight in the trap competition by shooting four perfect rounds of 25 each. This was the first 100 recorded since the beginning of the FFA Ag Clay shoot five years ago.
This is Bradley’s second year to compete in the FFA shoot and his fourth year to compete in 4-H Shotgun Shooting. Bradley has been competing in shooting competitions all summer. He was the High Overall Senior 2 shooter at the Crockett County Shoot in Ozona placing 3rd in American trap, 2nd in American skeet and 3rd in five stand. At the Garza County shoot in Post, he placed 3rd in American trap with a score of 95 / 100. He placed first in five stand and 3rd in American Skeet at the Callahan County Shoot. He placed first in International trap, first in American skeet and second in International Skeet at the Kerr County 4-H Shoot.
Bradley will be a senior at Menard High School in the fall and is the son of David and Felicia Laxson. He is the great grandson of the late Martin and Marguerite Wagner.
