The Mason County Chamber of Commerce and Mason County Rodeo Association present the 48th Annual Mason County Round-up! We hope that everyone will bring the family out and join us for a fun filled weekend!

Thursday July 12 - Rodeo events begin

The weekend will start with the County Team Roping at the Ft. Mason Park Arena sponsored by Karen and Dennis Townsend. For more information on the Team Roping, please call Dennis Townsend at 325-456-8635.

Friday July 13th

The 4D Barrel Race will be the next event of the weekend and takes place on Friday evening. Books will open at 5:00 pm, exhibitions will run from 5:30 to 7:30 and the 8 and Under Class will begin at 8:00 pm. Prizes will be awarded to all participants in this class. Mason has some local talent who are not only cute as can be, but also pretty tough competitors. They are always fun to watch! The Youth 4D Class and the Open 4D Class will follow the little ones. Saturday July 14th, 2012 -

9 AM to 5 PM On the Mason County Courthouse Lawn Arts and Crafts fair, many Kids activities, live music, car show, great food, over 75 vendors and much more!

10:00 am- Round-up Parade on the square

Saturday Evening: Saturday morning slack will begin at 8:00 am and the Saturday night rodeo will kick off at 7:30 with the Grand Entry and posting of the colors, followed by the presentation of the Round-Up Queen’s Court. The Lester Meier Rodeo Company is planning an entertaining evening of bull riding, calf roping, open team roping, County team roping, barrel racing, mutton bustin’, calf scramble, breakaway roping and a super clown act. Concessions will be provided during the rodeo by the Mason High School JV and Varsity cheerleaders. They will use the concession proceeds to help pay for their uniforms and camp and appreciate your support. For more information on the rodeo, please call Pam Armstrong at 325-218-2010.

Saturday night - Dance under the stars: JD Newbury will kick off the dance at the Ft. Mason Park Slab at 9:00 pm followed by the Josh Ward Band. Check out his website at JoshWardBand.net! The Pizza Wagon will be available for the hungry appetites during the dance.

Dance tickets will cost $15 at the gate and $12 pre-sale. Rodeo tickets will cost $10 at the gate and $8 pre-sale for spectators 13 and over. 12 and under can watch for free! Presale tickets can be purchased at the three local banks and the Chamber of Commerce office. The Mason Rodeo Association is a volunteer organization promoting rodeo and equine events for our community. It’s not hard getting competitors to come to our beautiful town and the MRA appreciates the support of our businesses and individuals! Come join us – it will be a fun ride!
