The Mason Lions club met Tuesday, July 10th, for its regular weekly luncheon meeting at Willow Creek Cafe. There were 41 members and seven visitors in attendance.

Lion Ted Smith was responsible for the program and he answered some questions about the tax appraisals that were sent out last month.

This being our first time to meet at Willow Creek Cafe, things were a little hectic; but, everything will work out when they learn our routine and we learn their's. We are happy to have a nice place to meet and eat. The Lions Club also want to thank Zavala's Cafe for their many years of good food and service to the Mason Lion's Club.

The club’s next meeting will be held next Tuesday, July 17th, at noon at Willow Creek Cafe. The program chairman will be Charles Reichenau.

The Mason Lion’s Club has an ongoing program to recycle used eyeglasses to people who need them. Used eyeglasses may be given to any Lion or left in collection boxes at any of the local banks. Also please contact any Mason Lion if you know of anyone in our community unable to afford appropriate eye care.
