Mason FFA Chapter Attends State Convention

Five members of the Mason FFA Chapter recently attended the 84th Annual State FFA Convention held in Corpus Christi July 9-13, 2012. This event gives students the opportunity to represent their school on a state level with leadership skills. Members are also recognized for their achievements in FFA.

Price Ruffin, son of Troy and Cara Ruffin, was recognized for his outstanding achievements in FFA during the Stars of Texas Banquet. Price was named State Winner in Star Chapter FFA Degree - Production Agriculture. This Award goes to the top Sophomore in Texas after a series of advancing interviews and record book evaluations. Also attending the State Convention and representing Mason as voting delegates were Elijah Dickinson, Miguel Castillo, Luis Castillo, and Jeffery Williams.
