Wednesday, August 1, 2012 • Posted August 1, 2012

The Fine Arts Association of the Hill Country has once again done well at the Teacher Art Show at the Kerr Arts and Cultural Center in Kerrville for 2012. FAAHC members have taken a first, second, and third in the show which runs July 12 through August 5 at the KACC building at 228 Earl Garrett. The show is sponsored by Hometown Crafts.

Robin E. Clark placed first with her photography entitled “Motley County Lawman”, Nan Loeffler placed second with her silver pendant entitled “Cativity”, a nativity in cat language and Marcy Holmes –Wheeler placed third with her clock gourd entitled “Pebbles in the Sands of Time”.

We were all really busy last year and forgot to submit an article for the 2011 show: Dorrett Townsend won three awards, Robin E. Clark won two awards, and Nan Loeffler won two awards.

In addition, two members of FAAHC, Marcy Holmes-Wheeler and Nan Loeffler, have their names on pencils in the picket fence in front of the Chicken Farm Art Center in San Angelo.
