Second Chance currently has a great need for foster families. Fostering a cat or dog removes the animal from the shelter facility to a stable home environment. The animals have a chance to be socialized and evaluated before being adopted. Someday Second Chance hopes to have their own facility, but until then we have to rely on members of the community to help us give these dogs and cats caring temporary homes. If anyone is interested in filling out our Foster Application please contact Casey Clevenger at 347-4521.

Our pet of the week this week is Annie, a small black and tan female dog. She is around two or three years old and looks like she is part King Charles spaniel and part miniature pinscher.

Annie is sweet natured and enjoys being petted and held. She is currently with a foster family but would love a permanent family.

If you are interested in adopting Annie, please contact Casey Clevenger at 347-4521. There are also a number of cats and kittens available for adoption. Please visit our Facebook page to see all the cats and dogs available for adoption.
