The Renewable City of Mason Float
Wednesday, August 15, 2012 • Posted August 15, 2012

We just wanted to let everyone know about out City Parade float.

Our float featured our Recycle theme. We are very excited about recycling so most of the float was comprised from recycled material. Our plant holders were painted tires, so we encourage you to find ways to reuse your own tires. The chair our queen’s candidate sat on was recycled from the landfill. Some of the material on the water ramp was material from the recycle center such card board, and metal. The sign that rotated was made out of recycled Styrofoam.

Also, we are recycling the entire float and letting the Queens Court use it for their summer parades. We want to thank the citizens of Mason for their help in recycling.
