Puncher Pete to Perform at the Capital One Bowl
Wednesday, August 22, 2012 • Posted August 22, 2012

Lorri Ann Drazan is one of an elite number of Mascots chosen to perform in Bowl Game.

As Mason High School mascot, Puncher Pete, Lorri Ann Drazan is one of more than 50 All-American Mascots from across the country who will perform in the 2013 Capital One Bowl Pre-Game in Orlando, Florida. The individuals invited to perform are All-American Mascots selected from Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) summer camps across the country. All-Americans are selected via tryout based on their overall character development and crowd leading skills. Only the top 12% of the mascots attending UCA camps earn the chance to perform in this year’s Bowl. The All-American program is now in its 26th year.

Mascots will travel along with cheerleading and dance team members to Orlando for a week of rehearsals dedicated to preparing them for their Capital One Bowl pre-game performance. The hours of rehearsals will be well worth the effort when they perform in front of tens of thousands of fans at this major college football event, televised on ABC. While in town, they will also have the chance to visit Central Florida’s famed theme parks.

The UCA does not pay the fees required to attend this event. Thus, Puncher Pete must fundraise in order to cover the expenses and would greatly appreciate the communities' support: monetary and non-monetary. Donations can be sent to:
