Puncher Club Kicks Off Membership Drive

Paul Rice

The Puncher Club mission statement is simple, “ Supplement the Cowgirl and Puncher athletic programs through a variety of fund raising efforts in order to give our student athletes the best possible experience we can.”

As the Puncher Club prepared to kick off this year's membership drive we were all extremely cognizant of the price of gas and the fact that the economy is in the toilet. With that in mind the Puncher Club decided to reduce the cost of this year's membership in order to make it affordable to all. Unlike most of the school districts in West Texas, we do not have an oil well sitting on our front lawn. It is your Puncher Club dollars that help supplement our athletic programs and support our student athletes. Our young athletes play at the pleasure of the community week in and week out. The financial support and enthusiastic Puncher pride that they receive from their parents and the community is genuinelly appreciated by them.

This year's membership will come in two forms, an individual or a business. This is what you will get in return.

1.) Name will be a featured part of the football and basketball programs.

2.) Name will be displayed on the big board which will appear at all MHS athletic events.

3.) You will receive an official Puncher Club button.

4.) Your blood will automatically turn purple.

1.) Business name will be featured in the football and basketball programs along with your advertisement.

2.) You will be an official hole sponsor, complete with a sign at the MPC golf tournament.

3.) Individual name of owners will be featured in the football and basketball programs.

4.) Business and individual name will be displayed on the Puncher Club big board.

5.) You will receive an official Puncher Club button.

Last year the Puncher Club tripled it’s membership base and surpassed larger schools such as Brady and Junction. The message was sent to our opponents that our fan base can be just as intimidating as our teams. Let’s get behind our Punchers and Cowgirls and give them the support they so rightfully deserve.

You can secure your Puncher Club Membership in a variety of different ways:
