HCM Hospital welcomes Dr. Schladoer to medical staff

Hill Country Memorial Hospital (HCM) in Fredericksburg is welcoming podiatry and wound care specialist Angela L. Schladoer, DPM, CWS, to its medical staff.

Dr. Schladoer purchased the podiatry office at 307 S. Washington Street in Fredericksburg, and offers a full range of foot and ankle problems and sees patients of all ages. In addition to her podiatry practice she has joined Marshall W. Cunningham, MD in providing wound healing at Hill Country Memorial’s Wound-Healing Clinic.

“My family and I are excited to back in the Hill Country, and I’m glad to have an opportunity to join the Hill Country Memorial family,” Dr. Schladoer said. “This is a great place to live and practice medicine, and I’m honored to be a member of the hospital medical staff.”

Dr. Schladoer has five years of experience as a podiatric and wound specialist. She is coming here from Eagle Pass, TX, where she practiced at United Medical Centers and Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care Center/Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center, where she was a co-medical director.

Dr. Schladoer received her doctorate from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL in 2006. She performed her residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center Southern Arizona at Tucson and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center Black Hill at Fort Meade, SD in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. She is board certified by the American Board of Wound Management as a Certified Wound Specialist.

She and her husband, Todd, with twin daughters, Hope and Madison moved to Fredericksburg from Eagle Pass. Dr. Schladoer is a graduate from Ingram High School and Todd a graduate from Tivy High School in Kerrville. She then attended Shreiner University in Kerrville before they moved to Illinois. The family enjoys all outdoor activities, including camping, fishing and hunting.
