The Mason Co. M. Beven Eckert Memorial Library is proud to announce Dr. Robin E. Clark as our artist of the month for September.
We are displaying a collection of Dr. Clark’s photographs in the Cup & Chaucer. Dr. Clark is a charter member of the Fine Arts Association of the Hill Country (FAAHC). She has been a resident of Mason for more than seven years, having retired early from a successful career as a university professor.
Prior to earning her Ph.D. in Fine Arts from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Dr. Clark taught in the public schools of Texas and Michigan. She is a published author and researcher, as well as an international public speaker. Dr. Clark has maintained an active exhibition record for more than thirty years. She has received numerous awards for her artwork, the most recent of which was given last month.
She continues to exhibit work around the country, conduct art workshops, deliver art history and art criticism lectures, and curate exhibitions throughout the state. Dr. Clark currently works mainly in photography, and occasionally in watercolor, pastel, collage, and mixed media.
