Pet of the Week
Wednesday, September 19, 2012 • Posted September 19, 2012

The opportunity to enter to win a spay/neuter of a cat or a dog sponsored by Second Chance – Mason Animal Rescue has been extended to October 10. Stop by the Mason Feed Store or the City of Mason office to enter.

If you are interested in learning more about Second Chance or would like to become a member, please make plans to attend the monthly meeting this Thursday at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the offices of Strategic Oilfield Services next door to Willowcreek Café.

Gently used dog and cats supplies, especially kitty litter, kitten chow and leashes, are needed. These can be dropped off at the Mason County Chamber of Commerce on the square.

Our pet of the week this week is Wally, a four month old grey male kitten. Wally gets along great with his fellow foster cats. He loves to play and can turn anything into a toy. Wally also enjoys attention and loves to be held and petted.

Wally’s adoption fee will include neutering and vaccinations.

If you are interested in adopting Wally or any of our other foster cats or dogs please contact Casey Clevenger at 347-4521. If you are interested in helping out but cannot volunteer or foster, please consider becoming a sponsor of one of Second Chance’s animals. Donations can be made to Second Chance and mailed to PO Box 755, Mason, Texas 76856.
