Some of y'all know her and some do not - her name is Kayla Dawn Estes she is a life-long resident of Mason County. She graduated from Mason High in 2001. She is the grandaughter of Gordon And Carolyn Airheart. She has worked at Super-S-Foods (Lowes) for several years as a cashier as well as Windcrest Nursing Home
She works these two jobs in order to provide for her two children: Kyle who is 7 and Carissa who is 6, whom she raises on her own.
She was Star flighted from Llano hospital on Thursday, September 20, with breathing complications. She is now in Temple at Scott & White in I.C.U in critical condition on a ventilator, unable to breath on her own due to asthma and pneumonia. There have been no signs of improvement nor any signs of declining health.
I'm reaching out to the great community for any type of donations so that when Kayla is able to come home that she will have something to come back to. I, Amber Airheart Tupin, as well as my sister, Rita Airheart Dickson, along with other family members, are trying to fund as much of the cost as we can and are unable to do all of it on our own, so we are reaching out to the Mason Comunnity for help.
I have set up an account in Kayla's name at Mason National Bank so that anyone that is able to donate even $1.00 can. Even if all you can do is pray for her, that would be helpful as well!
This Money will go for Kayla and her children for their bills and expenses only! For any more information please contact Amber Airheart Tupin @ 325-217-6227. I can be reached after 6:30 p.m.
Thank You in advance for your prayers and help.
