Second Chance Animal Rescue
Wednesday, October 10, 2012 • Posted October 10, 2012

Second Chance – Mason Animal Rescue is beginning a new project this week. Thanks to a suggestion from Animal Control Officer Audrey Morquecho, Second Chance will be taking donations of pet food for the Mason Food Bank.

In these hard times, some people are faced with surrendering a beloved pet because it becomes difficult to buy food for them. With your help, Second Chance will be supplying pet food to the Mason Food Bank on a regular basis to help keep pets in their homes. You can drop your donation of dog, cat, or even bird food to either the Chamber of Commerce Office or to the Strategic Oilfield Services office located next door to Willow Creek Cafe.

This week’s pet of the week is Allie, an adult female Border Collie. She is sweet natured and just wants to be spoiled by someone. Please visit our Facebook page to learn more about Allie and to see all of the adorable animals looking for a permanent home. If you are interested in adopting a dog or cat through Second Chance please contact Casey Clevenger at 347-4521 or email her at
