A Health and Wellness Program Offered by the Wesley Nurse Health Ministries™
The Wesley Nurse at First United Methodist Church invites you to take part in a free Lunch ‘N Learn program open to all citizens in the Mason area. The program is aimed at helping residents understand the importance of taking their medications as prescribed; how to properly dispose of discontinued or outdated medicine; the importance of establishing a system for taking meds; and general medication safety. Participants will receive helpful med charts for record keeping.
Ann Scarth, the Wesley Nurse in the Mason community is the presenter for this program. She will provide helpful charts for recording medications that can be taken to medical appointments, and can serve as a tool for healthcare professionals when evaluating the prescribed and over-the-counter medications taken by each participant.
The program will be held in the social hall at the Methodist Church at 224 Broad St, on Thursday, October 25th, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. Participants are encouraged to bring a friend and a sack lunch; beverages and dessert will be provided. For further questions or information, please call Ann Scarth, RN at 325-347-5983.
