The Mason Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) with your help was able to successfully raise over $20,000 last school year. Due to the generosity of our community, we were able to put some of those earnings towards the purchase of a new playground playscape for the school campus.
Also this year, the PTO has donated over $1675 towards Weekly readers, Staar testing learning materials, ink cartridges, Math learning centers and tools, Brain Pop program for first graders, Accelerated Readers Programs rewards, and supplies for the Elementary and Junior High Nurses station. The Mason PTO officers include: Jennifer Row-President, Michelle Chapman-Fundraising Coordinator, Shayne Smith-Treasurer & Public Relations, and Angela Gammill-Secretary.
We cannot be successful at helping the needs of our school and teachers without your help! Throughout the year the organization holds several fundraisers such as collecting box tops and poinsettias sales. Also each Friday during football season, the PTO sells “Puncher Ribbons” in the cafeteria before school starts for $1. This year we will be having a new fundraiser selling candy canes to be delivered to the children at school. More details on that in the upcoming weeks. 100% of the proceeds of all of these fundraisers go directly back to benefit our children at Mason Elementary and Junior high, so please help support your school.
