7th vs. Goldthwaite

The 7th grade fought hard as they beat Goldthwaite 20-14. It was a close game all the way through. Jake Comey scored the first 2 touchdowns with Americo Alvarez and Kason Silerio scoring the 2 point conversions. Sebastian Burke scored the last touchdown on a slant route across the middle with the 2 point conversion no good.

In the end, the boys fought hard and came out with a win. Very proud of these boys and how they stayed with it until the very end and didn’t give up an inch.

8th vs. Bracket

The 8th grade played very hard and held the Bracket Tigers to 4 touchdowns, but it was not enough as we lost 28-8. It was a hard fought game all the way through. Haddon Hudson scored on a 45 yard touchdown late in the 4th quarter and Evan Dayton scored on the 2 point conversion.

The boys played extremely hard and I was especially proud of their effort throughout the game.

JH vs. Center Point

7th/8th vs. Center Point

The 7th and 8th grade combined forces as they beat Center Point’s junior high team, 44-18. We started off the game very strong with a 45 yd reverse pass from Evan Dayton to Eli Timms with Grant Sanders scoring the 2 point conversion to follow. On a rollout pass from Slade Townsend, Haddon Hudson scored the next touchdown with Grant Sanders scoring another 2 point conversion. Kason Silerio scored the next touchdown with a run up the middle, 2 point conversion was no good. Evan Dayton scored next with the reverse play for 35 yards, Brayden Waite score the 2 point conversion with a pitch to the right side. Jake Comey scored on a 20 yard pitch play with Brayden Waite scoring the 2 point conversion and Evan Dayton scored the last touchdown with the fade pass from Slade Townsend.

Our defense played very well also, Karson Johnson and Haddon Hudson came away with interceptions that led Puncher touchdowns on the next drives. Our defensive and offensive fronts played extremely hard and the scoreboard at the end of the game showed it.

I’m very proud of how hard these boys played and came together and finished off this season with a win.
