Mason Study Club's Chili On the Square
Wednesday, November 14, 2012 • Posted November 14, 2012

On Friday, November 9th, The Mason Study Club held their annual “Chili on the Square”. Even though the day was windy, it was warm and dry. The turnout for chili served in bowls, over fritos, with or without onion plus brownies or cookies assured that the Study Club had a successful fundraiser. There were only a few scrapes of chili left in the last soup pot.

The Study Club members also had a great time together. Just look at the smiles on the faces of, from left to right, Rosemary Davis, Sue Kaan, Joyce Mutschink, Diane Evans, Linda Kesler, Florence Smith, Susan Chadwick, Kay Hudler, Pam Scott, and Mary Freytag.

The Mason Study Club wants to thank all the supporters of this fundraiser who once again showed the generous spirit found in this town. The Study Club also wants to thank Sue Kaan for organizing the “Chili on the Square”.

The proceeds from this sale will be presented to the Library.
