Christmas Play at Art United Methodist Church
Wednesday, November 21, 2012 • Posted November 21, 2012

Mason High School Auditorium is where you’ll want to be on Sunday, December 2nd, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon! The folks at Art are presenting a Christmas play for your enjoyment! At the start of this Advent and Christmas Season we hope to bring joy and laughter to your hearts – joy that will lift your spirits – laughter that will “lighten your load” throughout the busy-ness of the coming weeks!

The name of the play is “FOR UNTO Y’ALL” and the setting is the late 1800’s in a little town in Wyoming called Nazareth. The folks in Nazareth have been having a pretty rough go of it lately, but things are about to change! You’ll see cowboys and angels, barmaids and bankers, singers and dancers, and much, much more!

We have been busy for months learning songs, gathering props and costumes, and practicing! practicing! practicing! Our director, Tyra Jordan, has made it very clear that we WILL know our lines and we WILL know our songs and we WILL project! And we WILL!

So come on out and watch as we perform for you this UNCONVENTIONAL version of the ageless story of Jesus’ birth. I promise you will be glad you did.

Although the play is being presented free of charge, those in attendance will have an opportunity to make donations to the Mason County Ministerial Alliance Food Bank and Young Life of Mason. Young Life is a Christian organization reaching out to the youth in Mason County.
