The Mason Lions club met Tuesday, November 13th, for its regular weekly luncheon meeting. There were 39 members and three visitors in attendance. Among the visitors were two Mason High School seniors, Mari Marquez and Markelda Martinez.

Lion Brad Glass was responsible for the program and talked about security on your computer.

He said viruses come mostly off of web pages that have them embedded in their system coding. Brad said that you should install protection on your computer, and then be very careful about emails and websites you are not familiar with. Also, to use different passwords and record them in a book for each website. Brad answered questions from the club and then the meeting was adjourned.

The club’s next meeting will be held next Tuesday, November 20th, at noon at Willow Creek Cafe. The program chairman will be Will Frey.

The Mason Lion’s Club has an ongoing program to recycle used eyeglasses to people who need them. Used eyeglasses may be given to any Lion or left in collection boxes at any of the local banks. Also please contact any Mason Lion if you know of anyone in our community unable to afford appropriate eye care.
