Brown Bag Library Lunch December 6th
Wednesday, November 28, 2012 • Posted November 28, 2012

The Mason County Library Board is pleased to invite you to the last of the BROWN BAG LUNCHES for this year. Only this time you don’t need to bring a brown bag lunch. A lunch of beans and cornbread along with a drink and dessert will be served by the Library Board members.

It is our pleasure to welcome JAMES HERRON as our speaker. Mr. Herron is a retired Lampasas teacher. He has spent 50 years collecting items related to former TEXAS GOVERNOR COKE STEVENSON.

This will be a history lesson about the governor simply called “Coke”. Fact: he was born in Mason County in a log cabin — just a tidbit of information that we will learn about this Texas Governor.

So come join us on the 6th of December in the Stribling Room at the Library. Lunch begins at 11:30. The cornbread is a Coke Stevenson recipe. And, the beans are our own. We look forward to seeing you there.
