The Mason Lions club met Tuesday, November 27th, for its regular weekly luncheon meeting. There were 39 members and five visitors in attendance.

Lion Kirby Groves was responsible for the program and introduced Lance Rausch, Ag teacher at Mason High School, who broought the FFA Radio Team for a presentation in preparation for the state conest.

The team consisted of Cassie Benefield, Margaret Lemke and Bria Martinez. Their script ws on Rainwater Harvesting, and they presented it very well. Their information was very accurate and up-to-date, plus, their speaking was very clear and understandable. These young ladies did very well!

The club’s next meeting will be held next Tuesday, December 4th, at noon at Willow Creek Cafe. The program will be the monthly business meeting.

The Mason Lion’s Club has an ongoing program to recycle used eyeglasses to people who need them. Used eyeglasses may be given to any Lion or left in collection boxes at any of the local banks.
