CTEC Collecting to Benefit CASA and Food Bank - Connecting with Members to Benefit Community
Wednesday, December 5, 2012 • Posted December 5, 2012

The community is invited to participate in Holiday Connections at the Co-op. The employees at the Mason Office of Central Texas Electric Co-op (CTEC) are collecting items to support the Bluebonnet CASA and the local Food Bank. A drop off box is located at the Mason CTEC office, 983 N. Hwy. 87. Items to benefit the children served by CASA include toys, clothing, and diapers. In addition, members may donate pantry items for the Food Bank. Holiday Connections is an initiative undertaken this holiday season to connect CTEC members and employees with charitable giving programs. Bluebonnet CASA provides and supports trained community Guardian Ad Litem Volunteers to advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children involved in the court system, and to facilitate placement of these children in safe, loving, permanent homes as quickly as possible.
