Happenings at Comanche Creek Golf Course
Wednesday, August 20, 2008 • Posted August 20, 2008

Mason's Comanche Creek Golf Course may very well be one of the best kept secrets in the Texas Hill Country. As a key attraction of Ft. Mason City Park, the golf course provides the citizens of Mason with great outdoor fun in a beautiful setting. Comanche Creek Golf Course also provides a surprising welcome to hundreds of visitors to Mason each year. Time and time again many of the campers, hunters, rodeo participants and folks from all across the country comment about how pleased they are to find a "gem" like Comanche Creek Gold Course located in such a small community like Mason.

Like most things in our community Comanche Creek Golf Course is something for every citizen of Mason to be proud of. Whether you are playing a round on the VERY challenging course, power-walking/exercising along the cart paths or simply enjoying a family picnic under the pecan trees by the clubhouse and No. 1 fairway-Comanche Creek Golf Course provides all of us with an outstanding opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.

To help benefit our course and make it even better- The Comanche Creek Ladies Golf Association is sponsoring a GIANT garage sale. The sale will be held on Saturday, August 23rd from 8-12 at the American Legion Hall. A large selection of items will be available-antiques, tools, clothing, toys, books, golf items, videos and much, MUCH more. Baked items and coffee will also be available for sale. If you would like to donate items for the sale, staff will be available to assist you at the American Legion Hall on Friday, August 22nd from 9-2. All proceeds from this sale will go toward meeting the on-going expenses of maintaining our golf course. Please contact Sherrie Patrick at 347-5205 if you have any questions or would like to volunteer time to help with the sale.

Thank you for supporting our community and our golf course!
