Wednesday, August 27, 2008 • Posted August 27, 2008

During pre-game activities at the first home game of the 2008 football season, the team of 1958 will be recognized for their winning season. The 1958 Mason Punchers went to the state semifinals scoring 433 points to their opponents 62 points in the 14 games they played that season.

Eleven players were elected to all-district honors and four were all-state. About 25 of the 1958 team will attend this 50th reunion on September 5th.

Classmates (classes of '59, '60, '61, and 62') are invited to a reception at the old Mason High School (currently River of Life Church) from 4 to 5 on September 5th. Come visit and remember the Purple and White of 1958, or come to pregame at the Puncherdome.

Puncher Pride of 1958 was shared by the team, pep squad, and band.
