Amarillo, Texas--Sheila Rhodes of Mason, Texas, and Ladys Magic Touch, a 2005 Sorrel American Quarter Horse Mare, placed in the Top-10 in Three-Year-Old Mares at the 2008 Bayer Select World Championship Show, August 25-31 in Amarillo, Texas.

The Bayer Select World Championship Show is an invitational event specifically for amateur exhibitors age 50 and older. To qualify, exhibitors along with their horses must have earned a certain number of points in AQHA-approved shows between June 1, 2007, and May 31, 2008. This is the sixth year for the show, with number increasing each year as exhibitors from around the world compete for 41 World Championship titles.
"AQHA Presents," the American Quarter Horse Association's weekly television program on RFD-TV, will showcase this year's Bayer Select World Championship Show on October 29 at 1 p.m. and 11 p.m. Eastern and again on November 1 at 12:30 p.m. Eastern. RFD-TV is available in more than 31 million homes. It can be seen on satellite systems Dish (Channel (231) and DirecTV (Channel 379) as well as a number of cable systems.
The American Quarter Horse Journal will have the results of the Bayer Select World Championship Show in the November 2008 issue.
