To all who say, “THERE IS NOTHING TO DO IN MASON!” Be forewarned that, if I ever hear you say this, I just might slap your face! There is plenty of goings on in Mason. Okay, we don’t have a “Fest” every weekend, like Fredericksburg does. But, we have something going on every weekend. Just read your paper!

The annual “Monkey Hunt,” was this weekend and eleven believing/hunters were trying to spot one. None were spotted, but somehow, the bait got taken. There were peanut shells all over the club house floor. Guess, the banana bombs kept them at bay!

Too, there was a “SURPRISE” birthday party for a fine lady, who turned fifty. They say, “YOU’RE OVER THE HILL,” at fifty. So, if you’re over the hill, then it’s all downhill coasting. Downhill is good, due to the fact that, you don’t climb so good at fifty!

Mason taking care of Mason, was picture perfect at the benefit for Tina Carter. Oh, yes, there was Bar B Que served on paper plates! If the paper napkins didn’t get the Bar B Que sauce that was spilled, not to worry, that’s why we have Spray & Wash. And, that my friends is Mason taking care of Mason.

True, there were more goings on this past weekend, but you can only be at one place at a time.

P.S. Mason doesn’t need FEMA help. We’ve got FIHP, “Friends in High Places! Think on the high places!
