Puncher Youth Football
Wednesday, September 24, 2008 • Posted September 24, 2008

Come on out to the Puncher Dome this Saturday, September 27th to watch the first ever games of Puncher Youth Football! This will be your only chance to see these young Mason teams play at home this season. The 3rd/4th grade team is scheduled to play at 10:00 and the 5th/6th grade team will follow at 11:30 against the Brady Bulldogs.

These young Mason teams are a part of the Texas Youth Football League, based out of Brownwood. The players began practicing in the Texas heat of August just like the older Puncher players and have shown the same stamina. The goal of the league is to teach the fundamentals of football in preparation for 7th grade play and to improve the experience base of the Mason Football Program.

Coaches, families, and friends have watched these kids grow from learning where to place their football pads to the excitement of running plays. Join us on Saturday to help lead the Mason Youth Puncher Football teams to victory!

Saturday, September 27, 2008, the 3rd/4th grade Mason Punchers and the 5th/6th grade Mason Punchers will take on the Brady Bulldogs at the Puncher Stadium. The 3rd/4th grade Punchers will take the field at 10am with the 5th/6th grade Punchers to follow at 11:30 am. We invite everyone to come out and support our little guys in their first year to compete in the Texas Youth Football League. These are their first steps to becoming the Mighty Fighting Punchers of MHS. There will be a $1 donation per adult at the gate to help cover expenses. We hope to see everyone there.
