$20,000 for Mason Schools - Box Top Campaign
Wednesday, October 8, 2008 • Posted October 8, 2008

Did you know our schools can earn $20,000 a year? Yes, it’s true and you can help. Through the Box Tops For Education Campaign we can raise money for our students and teachers to use to enhance the learning experience. Box Tops can be located on many grocery items you already purchase everyday, including General Mills and Betty Crocker foods. Look for them also on Ziploc and Kleenex products.

Box Tops are similar to coupons and about the size of a postage stamp. They can also be found on items other than “boxes” including products packaged in plastic and cans, among others.

Collection boxes are located at the Elementary School office, Mane Attraction, and Super S Foods. Our next deadline to send Box Tops in for payment is October 25th. Therefore, we are having a Box Tops Roundup between now and October 25th to get as many turned in as possible. So, check your pantries and all of your grocery purchases for Box Tops.

Community involvement will dramatically increase the total of Box Tops collected and it’s simple to help. Just CLIP and DROP. Each Box Top is worth 10c to our school and that adds up fast! Please continue to clip them after the October 25th deadline because we will have another roundup later in the school year. For a complete list of Box Top products, go to www.BoxTops4education.com or stop by the Chamber of Commerce for a copy. For more details, call Tiffany Berrio at 325-347-4794. The Box Tops For Education Campaign is a project of the Mason PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization).
