Fall Watercolor Workshop at Granite Rock B&B

Granite Rock B&B will again host the watercolor artist, Ginger Test, for a two day Fall workshop on Friday, October 31 and Saturday, November 1, 2008. Ginger, is an avid photographer and gathers her inspiration from nature. She paints realism with a hint of impressionism. Her unique contemporary style features subjects such as cowboys and life in West Texas, as well as churches, flowers, wildlife and Indian pottery. One of her favorite subjects is hummingbirds. These paintings are rendered with the painstaking detail for which she has become famous.

Since, 1982, Mrs. Test has shared her vast knowledge by teaching workshops with those who want to learn the art of watercolor. She regularly teaches workshops in the Texas panhandle, the Davis Mountains, South Fork, Colorado , Mason (a fall and spring workshop), and teaches weekly classes in San Angelo and Abilene. She also is a noted demonstrator and lecturer.

Ginger has had many one-woman shows and her paintings are displayed in homes and offices throughout the United States, Japan, Germany and Switzerland.

The workshop will begin at 9 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided by Granite Rock B&B. Cost of the workshop(only) is $45.00 per day. Artist can register for the full session or a half session. Artist must register by the 24th of October. The class is limited to 15.
