Local Musicians Releasing Album
Wednesday, October 15, 2008 • Posted October 15, 2008

The local band, Hundred Fold Seed, is currently taking pre-orders for their first album, "Somewhere Between."

Hundred Fold Seed is a Christian based, rock/soul band that has performed at a number of venues in Mason and surrounding areas. Band members are Justin McFarland, John Gammill, Colt Lyons and David Hanscheck.

The new album contains songs that are praise-type songs; but, with a hard rocking beat, often infused with soulful guitar and keyboard riffs that reveal the high level of talent of the band members. The smooth baritone vocals only serve to carry the messages, while the music backs up every move.

All in all, this new album shows that Mason musicians have the talent, and the drive, to make music on their own terms and within the framework of their own ethical beliefs. It is refreshing to see such talent and personal committment in today's music scene.

Contact any band member about placing a pre-order, or stop by the Harvest Mill Church.
