Paul’s letters, beginning in 1Thessalonians 1:1-10, were written to encourage these people to stay strong in the midst of their sufferings. Christians were being stoned for preaching the Gospel. We do not really suffer as Christians now. But do we really follow God in all situations?
Never stop being evangelists. Welcome everyone into the church regardless of who they are or what they have done. They need to be a part of the church. We are all called to share the story of Jesus Christ. Be a minister in all situations. The Holy Spirit will be with you. He will empower you with His love. With prayer and the Holy Spirit, you can benefit everyone around you.
God will touch your heart. So be persistent in you actions. Share God over and over. Let nothing keep you from serving others for God. Truly thank those that have gone before and have suffered much to help you be the Christian you are today.
May God tap you on the shoulder and call you into action.
