Calling for DVDs
Wednesday, October 29, 2008 • Posted October 29, 2008

The school’s “Gadgets For Green” project is going well and gadgets are pouring in. We appreciate everyone who has already donated their old gadgets. The PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) has now set a new “gadget” goal of 200 DVD’s. Gather your old DVD movies that still play and help us reach our goal of 200! Drop the CD’s off in their original cases to one of the collection boxes. Boxes are located at Northside Café, Mason Gas Company, Mason Elementary School Office, Chamber of Commerce, and all of the Mason banks.

The Gadgets For Green program rewards schools monetarily for each item recycled. The following used gadgets are acceptable:

DVD’s (in original case)

Video Game Consoles

Video Games (in original case)

Empty Inkjet Cartridges

Digital Cameras / iPods

PDA’s / Palm Pilots

Cellular Phones, GPS Systems

Laptops (include power cords)

(Include any accessories that go with the gadgets when possible.)

Please help our Mason students and teachers raise money by simply recycling old gadgets, and remember the project deadline is November 24th. For more details, contact Kelly Dayton at 325-347-1913.
