The grand prize raffle is a 2008 Kawasaki (ATV) Mule with Trailer and tickets are $10 each. Only 2,500 Mule tickets will be sold. ALL of the other raffles are just $1 each. You do not have to be present to win any of the raffles. Tickets are available now at the Chamber of Commerce, Ft. Mason Real Estate, Mason National Bank, First State Bank, The Commercial Bank, and Texas Arms. The Chamber of Commerce is open Monday - Friday from 9:00 - 5:00, closed for lunch from 1:00 - 2:00, and will open on Saturday at 10:00 am and promptly close at 2:00 pm. You may also purchase any remaining tickets at the Dinner beginning at 6:00 pm until the raffle drawings begin.

There will be over 40 raffles including 24 rifles and guns, a $600 whitetail shoulder mount donated by Joe Avalos Taxidermy in Brady, and a $500 electronic predator caller. Knives, hunting gear, gift certificates, and an antler lamp are also included in the raffles. The lamp is uniquely designed with real antlers and valued at $155. It is donated by A Vision Taxidermy and can be seen at the Chamber of Commerce. One of the rifles, donated by Mason Garden Market and Durst-Owen Cattle Company, is an HRA Henry Goldenboy 17HMR rifle valued at $599. Another is a Smith & Wesson Ibolt 25-06 rifle, donated by Mason Building Supply & Rentals and Northside Café, valued at $553. A complete list of guns is available at the Chamber of Commerce.

The dinner will be prepared by some of Mason’s best cooks. Briskets by Texas Deadwood BBQ, chili & beans by Willow Creek Café, sausage by Fort Mason Smokehouse, and dessert by Jennifer Zavala are included in this year’s dinner. You will also be served fajitas, pork roast, catfish, and assorted beverages. Special item, alligator tail, donated by Ranchland Western Wear, will be served until it runs out.

Emcee, Jeff Grote, and our Mason County Queen’s Court will be a part of the raffle presentations. The raffle ticket sales table will be located in the same place this year with Carolyn Phillips, Pat Hrdlicka, Kim Jordan, and Tabitha Zant to assist you. We are looking forward to a dynamite Wild Game Dinner on Saturday with lots of fun and good food. Come on out and join us…you might be the one that takes home a brand new Kawasaki Mule!
