Mason County native, Alett Rosberg, is once again participating in the "Race for a Cure" fundraiser for cancer research. She has written a personal message to her friends in Mason, which follows.
Dear Mason County Friends and Family, I would like to ask for your support once again in my endeavors to help find a cure for breast cancer. In April I will be participating in a 40 mile race in Houston to help find a cure. To participate in the race I need to raise at least $1,800.00 dollars. All the money raised goes to research and to under privileged women who cannot afford to have breast exams or treatment for their cancer.
On November 29th I will be holding a Bake Sale downtown in front of the Coffee Mug from 8:00 a.m till 11:00 a.m. to raise money for the race. If you would just like to make a money donation please feel free to drop it off at Hill Country Vet Hospital, or mail it to P.O Box 1747, Mason 76856. Checks can be made out to Faith Sisters.
Again thank you for your support and donations. Together We WILL FIND A CURE!
